Q1. What is Oracle?
Oracle is a program which maintains data for us and decides where it should go on the hard drive.In other words Oracle is a relational Database i.e. a collection of Data.

Q2. What is PL/SQL?
PL/SQL stands for Procedural Language/Structured Query Language and it is Oracle's procedural extension language for SQL.

Q3. What is the difference among database, tablespace and data file?
A database is logically divided into one or more tablespaces.
A tablespace is logically divided into one or more data files.

Q4. What is SYSTEM tablespace?
Each Oracle database has a tablespace named SYSTEM, which is created automatically when the database is created.

Q5. What is a schema object?
A schema is collection of database objects for a given user.

Q6.What is a view for Oracle Database?
A view is a virtual table which do not store data.

Q7.What is an Index in Oracle?
Index is an optional Object associated with a table ,created to decrease the time of data retrieval. It can be created on one or more columns of a table.

Q8. What advantages we get from views?
Views simplify data complexity.
Views Simplify commands for the user.
Views Present the data in a simplified form ,from that of the main tables.

Q9. What is difference between PRIMARY KEY and UNIQUE constraint ?
PRIMARY KEY columns can't contain Nulls but UNIQUE columns can contain Nulls.

Q10. What is a Transaction ?
Transaction is a logical unit of work that has one or more SQL statements run by a user. A transaction ends when it is committed or Rollbacked.
