Introduction:
What is the difference between XML Encoding and Binary Encoding

Answer:
An Encoding is a set of rules to present messages on the wire.

The XML  encoder converts messages into text-based XML

The size of encoded message is more than the that of

  produced by Binary serializer.Howerver this

  is interoperable due to XML.

Binary is efficient as it produces small message size

However it is not interoperable as so

used when both the service and client are WCF service.
