Introduction:
What is meant by separation of concerns in ASP.NET MVC

Answer:
Separation of concerns in ASP.NET MVC can be thought of as

different parts of application are independent of each other.

In other words the different parts are decoupled in such a manner

than one can be modified without a requirment of modification of other parts.

To give you a practical example of separation of concerns

one can  completely change the skin the entire UI using HTML and CSS

without  a single line of change in C# code.
