How to validate Decimal field in ASP.NET using Regular Expression validator and JavaScript



Main Content:


function onlyNumbersAndDecimal(evt)

{

var e= event || evt;

charCode = e.which || e.keyCode;

if(charCode > 31 && (charCode <48 || charCode >57) && charCode != 46)

{

 return false;

}

return true;

}



<asp:TextBox id="" onkeypress="return onlyNumbersAndDecimal();"



for decimal validation of type xxx.xx

you need to add regular expression validator like



"^[0-9]{1,3}([\.\,][0-9]{1,2})?$"

Conclusion:
This way we validate Decimal field in ASP.NET using Regular Expression validator and JavaScript
