Introduction:
What is the difference between an ArrayList and Vector class in java



Answer:
    The main difference between ArrayList and  Vector class in java is as below:

    ArrayList is by default not synchronized and thus not  thread safe.

     Vector class is by default synchronized and thus thread safe.

    So use Vector when dealing with Multi threading otherwise use

   ArrayList to avoid overhead.
